COMPUTATION OF THE COMPLEX RESONANT FREQUENCY OF WAVEGUIDE LOADED CAVITIES USING FDTD COUPLED WITH MATRIX PENCIL METHOD

摘要: 應(yīng)用FDTD結(jié)合MP的方法計(jì)算了波導(dǎo)加載諧振器的諧振頻率和品質(zhì)因數(shù)。與FDTD/DFT方法比較,這種方法減少了對(duì)FDTD運(yùn)行時(shí)間的需求,并且提高了數(shù)值精度。與FDTD/Prony方法比較,其優(yōu)點(diǎn)是計(jì)算效率高,對(duì)噪聲的敏感小。文中以計(jì)算實(shí)例說(shuō)明了算法的有效性。

Abstract: FDTD coupled with Matrix Pencil method was applied for computation of the resonant frequency and external quality factor of waveguide loaded cavities. With the new method, the computing time is reduced considerably and the accuracy of numerical results are improved compared to the combined approach of FDTD and DFT. Compared with conventional used Prony s method, the advantages of MP technique are its more computational efficiency and less sensitivity to noise. Numerical results of a 3-D rectangular cavity are given for verification of the method. -
