自相似VBR視頻源業(yè)務(wù)流的建模和仿真
THE MODELING AND SIMULATION OF SELF-SIMILAR VBR VIDEO TRAFFIC

摘要: 該文在對(duì)實(shí)際VBR MPEG視頻源統(tǒng)計(jì)特性分析的基礎(chǔ)上,參照分形高斯噪聲自相似(Fractional Gaussian Noise Self-Similar)模型產(chǎn)生方法,實(shí)現(xiàn)了對(duì)ATM網(wǎng)絡(luò)中最主要業(yè)務(wù)流VBR視頻源流的建模,提出了改進(jìn)方法,使得對(duì)實(shí)際源的仿真不僅考慮到了長(zhǎng)期相關(guān)性,同時(shí)也兼顧到了短期相關(guān)性。仿真結(jié)果表明,經(jīng)改進(jìn)的自相似VBR視頻源模型是一種較理想的模型。

Abstract: A statistical characteristics model of empirical VBR MPEG-I video streams is presented in this paper. Based on fractional Gaussian noise process, an self-similar model approach which models directly both the short-range dependence and long-range dependence empirical autocorrelation structure is studied. According to the simulation result, the improved self-similar process is a better model of VBR video traffic. -
