摘要: 本文分析了相對論電子束的能量單色性對自由電子激光器小信號增益的影響,對給定的泵浦場,存在臨界能量分散度,超過它之后小信號增益將變?yōu)樨?fù)值,波長越短,放大長度越長的激光放大器,對能量單色性的要求越高;激光振蕩器對能量單色性的要求則比激光放大器低得多。

Abstract: The effect of the monochromaticity of relativistic electron beam's energy on the small signal gain of free electron lasers is analyzed. For a certain pumping field, there is a critical energy divergency, over which the small signal gain will become negative. The shorter the wavelength and the longer the magnification length, the higher is the requirement of energy monochromaticity of electron beam for laser amplifiers. But the requirement of monochromaticity of electron beam for laser oscillators is much lower. -
