基于四階累積量特征分解的空間譜估計測向方法
THE FOURTH-ORDER CUMULANTS BASED SPECTRAL ESTIMATION METHOD AND ITS APPLICATION TO DIRECTION-FINDING

摘要: 傳統(tǒng)的空間譜估計測向方法大都是在二階統(tǒng)計基礎上提出的。而高階累積量(cumulant)及其對應的高階譜具有更加豐富的信息,而且對任何譜特性的高斯噪聲都有很好的抑制能力。本文研究了基于四階累積量特征結構分析的譜估計測向方法。從累積量的基本定義和性質出發(fā),導出了基于特征分解的測向算法,并給出了模擬實驗和測向系統(tǒng)外場實驗結果。實驗結果顯示,基于四階累積量方法的性能優(yōu)于傳統(tǒng)譜估計測向方法,特別是對于未知譜特性的色高斯噪聲的情況。

Abstract: Traditional approaches of spatial spectral estimation are usually based on the second-order statistics. The higher-order cumulants and the poly-spectrum have more information and are capable to reduce the Gaussian noises. In this paper, a kind of spectrum estimation method for direction-finding is presented based on the eigen-structure analysis of the fourth-order cumulants. The algorithm is derived and its performance is illustrated by both the computer simulations and the experiments of the direction-finding system. The obtained results demonstrate that the fourthorder cumumlant-based method outperforms the traditional direction-finding method, especially when the noise is unknown coloured one. -
