行波管-YIG振蕩器的討論
DISCUSSION ON TWT-YIG OSCILLATOR

摘要: 本文分析了用釔鐵柘榴石(YIG)電調(diào)濾波器作為外反饋元件的行波管振蕩器的工作原理,推導(dǎo)了這種振蕩器的調(diào)諧特性。分析表明這種振蕩器可以在很寬的頻率范圍內(nèi)振蕩,但振蕩頻率是不連續(xù)的,每隔一定頻率相繼出現(xiàn)振蕩區(qū)和停振區(qū),在一般情況下振蕩區(qū)和停振區(qū)約各占一半,理論分析與實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果基本符合,這說(shuō)明行波管-YIG振蕩器用作一般的寬頻帶掃頻振蕩器還存在一定的問(wèn)題。

Abstract: The principle of a TWT oscillator using a YIG as feedback element is analyzed and the tunning performance is derived also. It shows also that this kind of oscillator can oscillate in a rather wide frequency range but the oscillating frequency is separated in bands. There are forbidden regions for oscillating. Under ordinary conditions, the forbidden regions are almost equal to the oscillating regions. The results of experiments are in agreement with the theory. This shows that there still are problems if one uses the TWT-YIG oscillator as a broad-band sweeping oscillator. -
