Instantaneous frequency estimation for AM-FM signals based on WVD

摘要: 該文研究了應(yīng)用WVD譜峰檢測估計AM-FM信號的瞬時頻率的方法及其性能。理論分析表明;對線性調(diào)頻的AM-FM信號,只要其幅度的WVD在頻率為零處取得最大值在任意時刻都成立,則基于WVD譜峰檢測得到的瞬時頻率估計是無偏的,并給出了估計的方差。仿真實驗使用高斯包絡(luò)的線性調(diào)頻信號表明,利用WVD可以有效地估計AM-FM信號的瞬時頻率。

Abstract: In the paper, the method to estimate instantaneous frequency of AM-FM signals using the peak of the WVD and its performances are studied. Analysis results show that the estimation on amplitude time-varying and frequency linear modulating signals will be unbiased, only if the WVD of time-varying amplitude reaches its maximum at frequency zero no matter in which time. The related expected variance is given in the paper. The simulations using signals modulated Gaussian envelope in amplitude and linearly in frequency support this conclusion. -
