基于多分辨分析計(jì)算波導(dǎo)的TE和TM模
COMPUTATION OF TE AND TM MODES IN WAVEGUIDES OF ARBITRARY CROSS SECTIONS BASED ON MULTIRESOLUTION ANALYSIS

摘要: 本文根據(jù)多分辨分析理論,給出了計(jì)算具有任意橫截面波導(dǎo)的TE模和TM模的一種方法。在該方法中,用尺度函數(shù)把場分量(Ez或Hz)近似為級(jí)數(shù),通過變分公式把波導(dǎo)問題化為矩陣方程。并且把波導(dǎo)截面分為許多矩形區(qū)域,用三階B-樣條函數(shù),推出了矩陣元素的具體表達(dá)式。為了驗(yàn)證該方法,以三種不同的波導(dǎo)為實(shí)例進(jìn)行了計(jì)算。

Abstract: Based on multiresolution analysis,a method for computation of TE and TM modes in arbitrary cross sections is described.The method uses expansion in terms of scaling functions to approximate the axial field component (Ez or Hz) and transforms the field equation into a matrix equation by applying a variational formulation.The matrix elements are formulated by dividing the waveguide cross section into rectangles and using third-order B-spline.Numerical examples are provided for various waveguides to show the validity and effectiveness of the method. -
