一種用于ATM網(wǎng)中ABR多點(diǎn)對點(diǎn)連接的擁塞控制算法
A CONGESTION CONTROL ALGORITHM FOR MULTIPOINT-TO-POINT ABR SERVICE IN ATM NETWORKS

摘要: ATM網(wǎng)中ABR多點(diǎn)對點(diǎn)連接的擁塞控制算法的研究目前尚處于起步階段。已有的研究成果都集中于將原來點(diǎn)對點(diǎn)連接的控制算法移植到多點(diǎn)對點(diǎn)環(huán)境中來,盡管這可以方便地實現(xiàn)基于信源的公平性,但卻不可避免地造成各ABR連接之間的帶寬分配不公平。本文研究了基于VC/信源的公平性準(zhǔn)則下?lián)砣刂扑惴ǖ奶攸c(diǎn),首次提出了這類算法的設(shè)計原則,并給出了一種具體的擁塞控制算法。仿真結(jié)果表明,該算法不僅能實現(xiàn)基于VC/信源的公平性,而且在收斂速度、鏈路利用率等其它方面也具有良好性能。Abstract: Study of congestion control for multipoint-to-point connections are still in early phases.So far the related works focus on extending point-to-point algorithms to multipoint-to-point environment,which can implement source-based fairness easily.But source-based fairness means no fairness between VCs at all.So VC/source based fairness may be the better choice.In this paper,issues about designing VC/source based congestion control algorithms are deeply studied.A set of design principles and a congestion control algorithm are proposed in the first time.Simulation results show that this algorithm can implement VC/source based fairness,converge fast to steady state,and have high link utilization.
