A novel real-time-angle estimeation method for measurement radar

摘要: 現(xiàn)代的測量雷達通常要對目標進行實時跟蹤,因此必須實時、準確地估計出目標方位。該文針對測量雷達的特殊情況,利用高分辨DOA估計理論,提出了一種新的實時測角方法。和傳統(tǒng)的基于比相原理的FFT法相比,在計算量基本保持不變的情況下,新方法在低信噪比時具有好得多的估計效果。Abstract: Modern measurement radars have to estimate the direction of the targets accurately in real time because they usually have to track the targets in real time. A novel real-time angle estimation method, which utilizes the theory of high-resolution DOA estimation and the special conditions of the measurement radar, is proposed in this paper. When compared with the conventional FFT method which is based on the principle of phase comparison, the two methods have almost equal computation cost, however, the new method has much better estimation accuracy when SNR is low.
