小波方向子樹(shù)的分形量化與零樹(shù)量化相結(jié)合

摘要: 本文通過(guò)對(duì)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)圖像內(nèi)在相關(guān)性的統(tǒng)計(jì)分析得出了自然圖像具有方向自仿射性的結(jié)論,并首次提出了小波方向子樹(shù)量化的概念。對(duì)分別屬于水平、垂直和對(duì)角方向的尺度壓縮因子是相互獨(dú)立的情況采用小波方向子樹(shù)量化進(jìn)行了編/解碼分析,同時(shí)深入研究了零樹(shù)小波量化與小波方向子樹(shù)量化之間的相互關(guān)系。實(shí)驗(yàn)證明,采用小波方向子樹(shù)量化與零樹(shù)量化的混合編碼算法可使編碼質(zhì)量有較大的改善。

Abstract: This paper first introduces the idea about orientation wavelet subtree quantization and constructs a hybrid image coding using orientation wavelet subtree fractal quantization and zerotree wavelet quantization. With this coding method the horizontal, vertical and diagonal scaling factors of quadtrees are treated independently according to the statistic analysis of test image orientation property and a result of a marked improvement in accuracy with respect to quantization for image compression is obtained. The coding results of this hybrid coding scheme outperform conventional fractal coders and Davis SQS method. -
