有/無線ATM混合網絡傳輸容量動態(tài)分配方案
A DYNAMIC TRANSMISSION CAPACITY ALLOCATION SCHEME FOR WIRED/WIRELESS ATM NETWORKS

摘要: 以往對有/無線ATM混合網絡傳輸容量(帶寬)資源管理的研究或是局限于無線網絡部分、或是局限于骨干(有線)網絡部分,很少有人研究整個網絡中涉及越區(qū)切換的鏈路的傳輸容量資源管理方案。本文將無線系統(tǒng)中越區(qū)切換對傳輸容量管理的影響擴展到骨干網,分別針對基站(BS)與基站控制器(BSC)之間的鏈路(包括空中接口)和基站控制器間的虛通道(VP),提出了自適應于各小區(qū)中各類呼叫業(yè)務量狀態(tài)的傳輸容量動態(tài)分配和越區(qū)切換保護容量(Guard capacity)預約算法。通過對其性能的數值模擬分析,結果表明應用該算法時各類業(yè)務的阻塞率的比例與其指標要求的比例基本一致,因而可以適用于各類傳輸容量需求迥異的多媒體業(yè)務傳輸,使傳輸容量資源得以有效地利用。Abstract: The previous research on administration of the transmission capacity in the wired/wireless ATM networks only focuses on wired part or wireless part,There are very few people do the work extending to the links associating With handoff in the whole network.and the VPs among the base station controllers in the wired/wireless ATM networks: which adapt to the traffic state of each service in every cellular cell to allocate(provision)transmission capacity and to reserve handoff guard capacity on these links,respectively,By simnlating and analyzing the performance of the algorithm,it is found that it does well for the multlimedia communication in which the transmission capacity requirement of each service may be widely different, so that the network bandwidth resource can be used efficiently.
