Texture-image classification in DCT compressed-domain

摘要

摘要: 該文提出了一種在基于離散余弦變換(DCT,Discrete Cosine Transform)壓縮域進行紋理圖像分類的方法。此方法主要利用了DCT域能量具有方向性的特點,直接在游程長編碼(RLE,Run LengthEncoding)形成的碼流中根據(jù)這種方向性來提取、組織特征矢量,對紋理圖像進行分類。此方法只需對壓縮圖像進行簡單的Huffman解碼,要處理的數(shù)據(jù)量較少,處理速度快。實驗結(jié)果表明,這種分類方法具有較高的準確性。

Abstract: A novel method of texture-image classification in DCT compressed-domain is proposed. The textural feature; of energy-orientation is extracted in DCT transfonned-domain and this textural feature can be used to classify texture-images in RLE bit-stream directly. The experimental results demonstrate that texture-images can be classified at higher correct, classification rate under random noise.
