INVESTIGATION OF ELF RADIATION GENERATED BY ARTIFICIALLY MODULATED IONOSPHERE AND ITS APPLICABILITY TO COMMUNICATION TO SUBMARINES

  • 摘要: 本文分析被調(diào)制的高頻波加熱電離層所產(chǎn)生的極低頻輻射過程和極低頻在地球-電離層波導(dǎo)中的傳播模式,以及應(yīng)用于潛艇通信中的可能性。數(shù)值結(jié)果表明,如果高頻有效發(fā)射功率為100MW量級,頻率為5MHz,調(diào)制頻率為100Hz,則準(zhǔn)TEM模式在地球-電離層波導(dǎo)中傳播的衰減率一般小于1dB/Mm,距加熱地點1000km處海面(地面)上磁場強度的量級為10-8A/m。對于潛艇通信,在輻射源強度確定的情況下,對不同的潛艇深度和通信距離,存在一個最佳選擇頻率。
